Now Online: New CP-NET Webinar!

Communication Technology for Children with Cerebral Palsy

In this month’s CanChild E-Newsletter they shared a CP-NET webinar originally presented on November 29, 2017.  The recorded webinar features a parent sharing her story of the frustration’s involved in helping her son to communicate.  Two professionals share their perspective on recent advances in communication technology.

The ability to communicate thoughts, feelings and information is essential to the well-being of a child and their family. Many children with CP have challenges communicating with speech, and too often it is assumed that a child who does not speak is unable to connect with, or understand, the world around them.

CP-NET is proud to present “Communication Technology for Children with Cerebral Palsy”, a webinar highlighting new research and technologies that aim to assess and support a child’s ability to communicate.  The webinar features:

Presenters: Johanna Geytenbeek, Danijela Grahovac and Fanny Hotzé.

This webinar will be of interest to individuals with Cerebral Palsy and their families, researchers and healthcare professionals.
